Hey. I know, Alexis, you havn't posted in a long while. Well, I am posting now. I have been busy with school, especially now since it is the end of the year.
New songs for band. Pretty good songs. This years show tunes? Who are you by The Who, Any way you want it by Journey, Wanted Dead or Alive by Bon Jovi, and Jump by Van Halen. New stand tunes? Bohemian Rhapsody, Crazy Train,Can't get no Satisfaction, Lets get it started, and Single Ladies (Put a Ring on it). I think I listed all of the new ones.
I finally got my schedule for next year. I got AP European History, a class I really wanted to take this upcoming year. I am really interested in learning Europes history because it sounds more interesting than ours. I also have English and all those classes. My electives are Spanish II and Band.

Total bookworm
so, as you can probably tell by the title, i am a bookworm. i just read this book called deadly little secret and i ordered the next book in the series off of amazon called deadly little lies. the book deadly little secret is hard to describe so you can read a page by going to www.amazon.com and type in Deadly little secret, search in books, and then click on deadly little secret when it shows up. you should then have an option to read a page, i don't know if you have the option for this book, but i know you can do this with other books so i don't see why it couldn't be done with this book.
Anyway, moving on. i had to go to the dentist today, and i have my 1st cavity. i had a cavity once in a loose baby tooth, so that was easy. it fell out, no worries. i have to get a filling, and im kinda scared. no drilling involved though, my dentist uses laser dentistry and my mom says its not bad, i hope not. then, when i put my ipod on shuffle for only owl city songs, i ended up listening to dental care. I agree with Adam Young, dentists are scary.
you know, my life is strangly uninteresting, except for the fact that we had a small snow storm thrusday night into friday and for english i have to read a book called animal farm which is about talking animals. yeah, freaky. oh, and the girls and boys basketball teams at my school are in districts and i think some of our wrestlers made it to districts too, but im not sure.
well, im gonna go because i don't really know what else to say because anything else i say will probably put you to sleep if what i have written down hasn't put you to sleep already. bye!

Winter Wonderland, literally!
There is so much snow in our side yard that it is up to my knees. All of this snow accumulated Friday, Saturday, last night, and today. It has been snowing since this morning and hasn't stopped! There was no school today and there may not be school tomorow. The weather channel is calling this February Fury. I couldn't come up with a better name myself.

Touching book.
Hey, sorry I havn't posted in a while but I have been busy. We have all probably seen the movie Marley & Me including myself and I got the book for Christmas, started reading it, had to put it on hold because of school work, then finished it just now. The book is more touching than the movie. I loved it and I would like to type an excerpt:
A dog has no use for fancy cars or big homes or designer clothes. Status symbols mean nothing to him. A waterlogged stick will do just fine. A dog judges others not by their color or creed or class but by who they are inside. A dog doesn't car if you are rich or poor, educated or illiterate, clever or dull. Give him your heart and he will give you his.

Shopping, band,midterms, and delicious dinners!
I am sooooooooooooooo stressed and busy right now! I am surprised I am finding time to blog semi regularly.
Today I went shopping. First, we went to Boscov's where I got a blue cami to wear under my one shirt that I noticed was see through, after I bought it. After that we went to one of the most crowded stores in my area, Walmart. I don't really like that store and I don't buy a lot there, just the occasional book or magazine, since their book section sucks!, and jeans since they carry l.e.i. and those are the only jeans without holes in them(it is against my schools dress code to wear holes with jeans) and that fit. I used to have to buy short jeans and l.e.i always had short jeans but now short is too short and regular is a tad long. for some reason l.e.i jeans just fit me best. I also found use for my gift cards by buying the third season of the secret life of the american teenager on DVD. :) I had a 10 dollar gift card and a 15 dollar gift card and that was enough to cover that and i still have 66 cents on my 15 dollar gift card. unfortunetly, you can't do much with 66 cents. After this we went to mcdonalds and i ordered fries and they were fresh out of the fryer. yummy! Then we went to this food store and then the pharmacy and then finally came home.
Band is starting to stress me out. They are doing construction at my schoool and our band room is a main point of interest this month. So, we got kicked out for the month of January and the only place to go was the auditorium. My band directors office is on the stage and we keep our instruments on the stage. We have been recording music because we are auditioning for Disneyworld and the Philadelphia Phillies (although for the Phillies we have been tenatively schedueled and basically excepted as long as our audition didn't suck so unless we bombed it, which we didn't we are in). I don't know if he sent the recordings out yet or if we even finished. He wasn't there on Friday so I'm not sure. It's just stressful being out of the band room is all.
my midterms area almost done, just my Spanish on Tuesday and Wednesday and my computer/ career where a date hasn't been set yet. I really hope I do well on my Spanish. I am good at Spanish and all I just am kinda nervous at how she said she had the test set up.
Tonight i had ham and fries for dinner and it was really good, and i am nice and full. :) I am a fan of ham so..............

Too many things to name
There was a fire in town a couple miles from here, I go to school in that town because it is the closest school (small towns) so I heard about it. Wasn't in the paper today though since it happened late last night so I don't really know the details, evidentally it was around a pizza shop so maybe that caused it. Our pizza shop in town caught on fire because of some of their equipment. I don't remeber it well because that is when I was little. They rebuilt it. It is 1 of 2 restraunts in town.
I have English and Geometry midterms tomorow. I am really nervous for Geometry because I suck at Geometry. That is the reason I won't make distinguished honor role, which sucks! It's not my fault that my teacher can't teach worth crap! I am not the only one who is not understanding. I am asking a lot of my peers if they get what we are doing and they don't. I wish there was a way I could report this, but I don't think there is a way I can. Any suggestions? There is always the 3rd marking period!:) I made distinguished last time by the grits of my teeth. Are there any geometry help sites?
I am listening to this song on my ipod. It is Earth Song by Michael Jackson. You are probably thinking bad things about him, but this song really makes you think. I mean, this song makes me think about soooooooooo much, my future, my homework, what I'm gonna have for lunch, ok maybe not what I am going to have for lunch, but you get the point. I would suggest listening to it. You'll be surprised at what you learn about yourself.
So, I am reading this really good book called Th1rteen R3asons why by Jay Asher. I really like it, but can't read it a lot because of these dang midterms! Over the weekend. :)
Well, I should make some dinner because my mom made dinner and I wasn't hungry so I should eat something now, or maybe a little later. AKA I should make dinner soon. So, I should really go, I gotta send emails, eat, and study more. Oh, silent library is going to come on in 4 minutes. I gotta find a tv to watch. bye!

Radio Stations!
As we all can see, I havn't posted in a while but I have been very busy with Christmas and now midterms. Now to explain the title.
On my way to my flute lesson, I was listening to my favorite radio station. One of my favorite songs that I don't have on my new ipod that I got for Christmas came on the radio right when I got there. Have you ever noticed that? Once you get to where you are going, it seems that your favorite song comes on. This has happened to me more than once. I just get mad when that happens.
Now on to another topic. Geometry! I really dont like that class, and I would've put that in caps and bolded it and everything but I didn't feel like pressing a lot of buttons. I am dreading the midterm because I got my review sheet today, I looked at it and was confused. I will have to have my dad help me. :) Luckily, my Geometry midterm is open materials which includes book, notebooks, worksheets, and hopefully midterm review sheets!:) One less midterm to study for. I have already tackled my History midterm and, according to my online account where I can check my grades I got 65 points, but it doesn't say how many points it was, so I will check that with my teacher tomorow.
So, I am listening to 3OH!3 right now, dont trust me to be exact, but currently my favorite singer is Owl City, aka Adam Young.
Well I will try to post again soon!
